- Free education. The main requirement is knowledge of the Slovak language.
- Developed infrastructure.
- Ease of obtaining a residence permit.
- Pleasant climate and beautiful nature.
- Favorable conditions for an active lifestyle. Many sports are popular here.
- Slowness. Slovaks are not used to rushing and can put off simple tasks until tomorrow.
- Difficulties with professional medical care. Doctors only go to patients with serious conditions.
- There are few 24-hour shops and pharmacies. Even pharmacies may be closed on weekends.
- Expensive utilities and mobile communications.
- Language barrier.
- A person who has moved on the basis of the status of an individual entrepreneur is obliged to stay in the country for at least 183 days a year. This is inconvenient if running a business requires travel.
