Cons:
  • Slowness. Slovaks are not used to rushing and can put off simple tasks until tomorrow.
  • Difficulties with professional medical care. Doctors only go to patients with serious conditions.
  • There are few 24-hour shops and pharmacies. Even pharmacies may be closed on weekends.
  • Expensive utilities and mobile communications.
  • Language barrier.
  • A person who has moved on the basis of the status of an individual entrepreneur is obliged to stay in the country for at least 183 days a year. This is inconvenient if running a business requires travel.
