Discounted Public Transport in Bratislava

As part of the Integrated Transport System of the Bratislava Region, a 50% fare discount is available to the following categories of passengers:
  • children and teenagers aged 6 to 17 — a photo ID is required to verify age, if necessary;
  • school pupils — must present a school ID with an activated transport function, an ISIC card, or a valid travel pass;
  • full-time university students up to 26 years old — need a university card with transport functionality, an ISIC card, or a valid student travel pass;
  • students and school pupils studying full-time abroad — must present an ISIC card or a valid Slovak transport pass;
  • persons with disabilities — a valid ŤZP or ŤZP-S disability ID is required;
  • pensioners receiving a Slovak pension from age 60 — need a “Dôchodca” or “Senior” travel card;
  • citizens aged 63 and older — a valid ID or a “Dôchodca”/“Senior” pass is required to receive the discount.
As of January 1, 2024, special fare reductions for individuals with temporary protection have been cancelled. Ukrainian citizens are now subject to the same rules as all other residents of Slovakia.
