One-day Vignettes in Slovakia

From 1 August 2024, it will be possible to buy a one-day vignette in Slovakia. Its cost will be 5.40 euros. The price is calculated based on the requirements of the European Union: the cost of a daily vignette cannot be higher than 9% of the price of an annual pass. Currently, an annual pass in Slovakia costs 60 euros. A one-day vignette will be valid until midnight of the day it was purchased.

In addition, the sale of annual vignettes, which were valid from the date of purchase until January 31 of the following year, will be discontinued in SR. All already purchased passes will be valid until the end of January 2025. The authorities decided to leave for sale only the type of annual vignettes, which are valid for 365 days from the date of purchase. Until now, four types of vignettes can be purchased in Slovakia. Annual passes cost 60 euros, 30-day passes – 17 euros, and 10-day passes – 12 euros.
