Family reunification in Slovakia

Every businessman, company manager, as well as an employee working under an employment contract, can reunite with his family in Slovakia. This can be done either immediately upon filing the first residence permit for the guarantor himself, or later at any time.

The following persons may apply for a residence permit through family reunification: the guarantor's spouse; minor children; a dependent child from 18 to 25 years old; one of the parents who cannot take care of him/herself.
