Registration in Slovakia

Anyone applying for a residence permit in Slovakia must register. Registration can be done in any city in SR. The main requirement of the immigration police is that the visitor actually lives at his registered address. Every foreigner is obliged to be at his registered address for at least 183 days a year. If the place of residence has changed, you must submit documents to change the address of residence to the police within five days.

Registration in Slovakia includes the name and surname of the owner, year of birth or identification number, address of the owner's permanent residence, number of the property deed, document certifying the provision of housing to a foreigner, period of residence, data of the visitor who will live at the registration address. A receipt for the provision of registration in Slovakia must be signed and certified by a Slovak notary or at the registry office.
